Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Springy ("we", "us") provides an AI phone-answering service for small businesses in Melbourne, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

How we use it

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We use trusted third-party providers to run the service — including our voice platform (Vapi), telephony carrier, email provider (Resend), hosting (Cloudflare) and analytics (PostHog). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Callers' details captured on a client's line are shared only with that client business.

AI disclosure

Springy is an automated AI assistant. When it answers a call, it identifies itself as an AI backup line if asked, consistent with Australian Consumer Law.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our providers on secure infrastructure. We keep call details only as long as needed to deliver the service and then remove them on request.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll action it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
